A louterion is an ancient Greek water basin with elaborate decoration. It was used for washing face, hands and body during religious purifications and burial ceremonies. It’s encountered as dedications to healing deities. All the sounds were recorded in and around a modern water sabin, the sink. Sounds of water streams, taps, drains and sewers can be heard in this liquid and percussive production, called "Louterion".
